Carnmore Struggle in SHC


Carnmore were resigned to their second loss of the 2017 SHC championship on Sunday last after a heavy defeat to group favourites Beagh. Despite a highly competitive opening twenty minutes where both sides traded scores Beagh found a purple patch in the final stages of the first half to open up a sizeable lead aided by two goals. The second half followed suit and despite Carnmore's gallant effort and never say die attitude the game was out of reach. SHC round four is sceduled for the weekend of June 6th.

Minors Earn Draw With Ballinderreen


Carnmore contined their fine run of form in the Minor Championship as the lads picked up another point after a hard fought draw with Ballinderreen on Sunday last. With three wins and a draw and seven pints on the board Carnmore sit top of their group.

U16 Hurlers Narrowly Miss Their Mark


Carnmore were defeated by Athenry and Oranmore-Maree in the U16 Championship by the narrowest of margins on both occasions. After a strong display and leading for much of the game Carnmore were beaten 0.15 - 0.13 by Athenry in a game many will feel the lads left behind them. A single point (1.12 - 2.10) separated Carnmore and Oranmore-Maree days later where Carnmore produced arguably their strongest performance of the year. We a game to play against Gort the championship is far from over.

Junior Hurlers Power To League Win


Carnmore recorded their first result of the 2017 Junior League with a good in over near rivals Abbeyknockmoy in a high scoring encounter. Carnmore's next game will be against Portumna.
